Movement is Life! The experience of life is in our bodies, and through movement we come to know ourselves. The Moving Arts Institute focuses on drawing awareness to and strengthening the body-mind connection. When we move, the negative effect from the stress of daily life is interrupted and the frenzied mind quiets. It is when we move that our bodies and minds can heal and we can arrive at true physical, mental and emotional health.
We welcome people of all levels and experience, including those that have never danced or felt comfortable moving. Our classes offer a range of conscious movement to satisfy the body, mind and spirit and allow integration of the body-mind connection at a cellular level. The comfortable, non-competitive setting makes MAI a place to relax, to get energized or just to have fun during much deserved personal time.
