Ettel Dobson, Director of Moving Arts Institute

Ettel shares a passion for music, dance & the community that it creates. She discovered her inner dancer late in life. The Epiphany was an awakening that propelled her personally and professionally in a whole new direction. Her enthusiasm and curiosity about dance and movement became the catalyst to open her studio.

A psych major in college, Ettel was especially interested in somatic (body) psychology. She loves all kinds of finger weaving, and especially enjoys knit & crochet. She is an avid reader, passionate gardener and crazy about textiles.

Ever the student, Ettel continues to rediscover herself through conscious movement and dance.
